Help With Spyware.Ultraview

Hi,   I have a Dimension 8250 with Windows XP.  I ran a virus scan and it found something that it could not get rid of.  It is called Spyware.Ultraview and it says it is a high risk.  It took me to the Symantec website to fix it, but I do not see one of the steps.    It says to go to Run, Regedit then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Client.  I find the client, but I do not see the second client in that section .  I do not know how to get rid of this spyware.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I found this when I was running Norton Security, but is not the full version, so it said it could not get rid of it.  However, Norton Anti-virus did not pick it up.   Thanks,   Janine

Hi,   I used Norton 2007 to find it, but it did not come up in the scan.  Our desktop has Norton Internet Security and this program picked it up.  I couldn't get any info on exactly where this is in the computer.  I did not see anything in add and remove either.   According to the Symantec website, it says:  Spyware.Ultraview is a spyware program that collects personally identifiable information from the computer.  This info is then sent to a remote server.   Anything else I can do?   Janine

What anti-virus software did you use for this scan? The spyware is an application that you must download. Look for the name of that application in the add/remove programs listing and click Remove.
