It appears that you have a spyware/malware which is causing some problems on your system.
You might want to try downloading a trial version of counterspy from
www.sunbelt-software.com and it'll detect whatever spyware/malware that has infected your system. It worked for me and I sure hope it works for you as well.
That didnt work!! I have downloaded soooo much stuff today and nothing seems to be working. I tried to run the counter program and wont let me without paying.. I tried the trial but it says Im not in their domain? Do you have any other suggestions???
The Add or Remove Programs has a bunch of ESS items in there and it doesnt give me the option to remove them. I dont see all my other programs on there like I did a week ago. They are still on puter but I cant change them. Also when I start up I get a seach folder come up with IESS unint but there is nothing in it. I have major problems!!

At the Main window select " Open the misc tool section" Then select " Open uninstall manager" Locate and Hilite Search Assist Then Select the " Edit uninstall command" button Another windows will open With the uninstall command in the box Copy and paste that information in your next reply Close the edit uninstall command box
From what main menu?? Control Panel?? Counter Spy?? I only have the trial version of Counter Spy. Do you think I dont have a misc tool section because Im using the trial version??? I have downloaded soooo many spyware removals today I cant even think anymore!! Please be patient with me! Thanks!
Okay, I can try that when I get home from work! This morning when I turned on the pc, it kept almost like looping to load windows. It would come up to click on the user but the screen would go black and start all over.. Will have to try and load with start up disk.... Think I am beyond repair??? Ill will take the laptop home so I can see what to do next..

Re Run Hijackthis
Then select " Open uninstall manager"
Locate and Hilite Search Assist
Then Select the " Edit uninstall command" button
