HIjackthis forum board

Question

Dont know if it is just me or what but I have been reading the hijackthis board trying to help my daughter but today when I click on the link to go there it is some weird picture that looks like a sweater.  Somebody else check this out.   Janie

Hello,   I was on the main page where you click to go to which ever forum board you wanted to go to.  But When I received you email I came back and checked and everthing was normal.   Janie

What page are you on when attempt to link, and what link is it that you are referring to? Is it the one on the forum 'home page'?

Do me a favor, when you go to the screen with the sweater after clicking a link on the Dell forums, highlight all the text in the URL (where the web address is entered), then post it back here; that will help us investigate further. You might also consider posting a HiJackThis log in the HiJackThis forum, just to see if anything unusal turns up.

It was only a few hours that I was getting that.  I just wondered if it was just me or did anyone else see this?  So now I can get there no problems.  It was just kinda weird.  Will probably post a log later this evening when I get time.   Janie

Sounds good, and since it happened more than once, I look forward to see if we can find any indications of Spyware/Malware in your system log ... :)

It could also be a DNS server somewhere went completely 'freaky' (I think about 20% are open to hackers at the moment due to them running an unpatched operating system).
