HJT log, forgot to paste it....MSBLANK.HTML

I was online today and this popped up.  I ran Xoftspy and it does not make it go away, and I cannot set a home page either.  I then took a nap with the computer on, and when I woke up, there were 12 of these windows up.  It also makes the printer want to do things...

If you are not in the Ukraine you have a DNS hijacker.  The O17 lines all point to DNS servers in the Ukraine.
If by any chance that is really where you live then do not check the O17 lines!
If you have problems downloading any of the files just skip to the Hijackthis in Safe Mode and then come back
and do them after the reboot.
Download the Hoster from:
Unpack to your desktop and run it.  If you have green print at the top then just press Restore Original Hosts then OK. 
IF you have red print then press make Hosts Writeable first.
 

Get DelDomain.inf from:
 
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm  and then right click on it and Install. 
Get cccleaner from http://ccleaner.com.
Install it but don't use it yet.
 
Shutdown and Restart and Boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key when you see the PC
maker's logo.
Keep tapping until it tells you it is going to Safe Mode or you see the Safe
Mode menu. Select the top option.
Run HijackThis and just do a Scan only. Check then Fix

Reboot into regular mode and install deldomain.inf and run hoster / Restore Default Hosts
just to make sure. 
Start, Run, cmd, OK to open a black cmd screen.  Type:
dir /a \windows\tasks
If you see something besides sa.data and desktop.ini highlight the result and press Enter. 
Then start a reply and Edit Paste or Ctrl + v
Run another HijackThis log and post it in the same reply. Let's
see how we did.

Make sure you have System Restore running (toggle it off and On today to get rid of any bad stuff it may have retained) and then you can just go back to an earlier time if you hit a bad site.  One way to make this more obvious is to check everything in your current HijackThis and Add to Ignore List then set up Hijackthis to run at boot and to show you if it finds anything new.

To avoid going to a bad site you might want to install IE-SpyAd and SpywareBlaster and make the other changes recommended at:.

I used to recommend Spybot's Immunize system but have recently learned it is not as good as the one at:

Never hurts to do one of the free on line scans from Panda or Trend.  They take a while but are pretty good.
