How to remove Perfect Keylogger

We have an older Dimension 8250 which has been running awful so yesterday I installed Webroot Spy Sweeper on it and did a scan and it found a copy of Perfect Keylogger.  I quarantined it but would like advice on how to remove it (i.e. what program would be best, etc. to do this).  I have found instructions on the internet for manual removal but do not feel I have the technical know how to even attempt doing this...any advice would be welcomed!!!  Also..is there any way I can find out just WHERE the information is being stored at..either on the net or on the computer (or some other computer)??

Is this your computer, or is it a work computer?

This is on a home computer.  We're running XP Home Edition on it too.

Have you discussed this with your family members to ask if anyone installed it?

The owner can remove it. Who is the owner of the system?
