Hi, randyeight,
That usually means that the request you sent to the website server (i.e. a request to load a web page) was somehow malformed therefore the server was unable to understand or process the request.
I do not see any malware in your log. Have you tried Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. Uncheck show friendly HTTP error messages. Once you have done this you should get a more detailed message which will point you to the real problem.

You are using Ares and have outdated Java, so you have a security risk with those.

Older versions of Java have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. It is possible that you may be running Java code in your applications that absolutely require a specific version of the JRE to run. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update.

Updating Java:

  • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.
  • Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u5 allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • The page will refresh.
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each of the Java versions.

  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u5-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Official JAVA Installation Instructions if needed.

Well, that's not much help. Have you tried doing a DiskCleanup to remove Temporary Internet files and Cookies?

You are not alone. There are discussions here: http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=1&comments_parentId=7801
http://www.vistaheads.com/forums/microsoft-public-windows-vista-mail/116393-http-error-400-bad-request-invalid-verb.html
Unfortunately, no solution is offered. You could try a System Restore. The good news is that it's not malware. I wish I could offer more help, but I haven't got a clue.

Try posting on the Vista Board.

Perhaps some of the regulars there have come across this problem.
