Internet Explorer error after loading new antivirus

Hi, to everyone. I just received a Vostro 1500 with XP. I'm have trouble opening IE from start up, but it will open from a  link from email and other programs. Is it from one of my tab home pages on the new version of IE or from my  Mcafee antivirus, free adware spyware I loaded?

 

It asks to send error report, than after sending it will close. Some times if I try to open again right away it will open and sometimes it gives the same error.

 

This happens on to separate user accounts and we both have igoogle home pages. My desktop is getting the same type of thing and I loaded Mcafee the same time. Before both (Vostro and desktop) were opening IE fine, I ust didn't notice exactly when I started having trouble. 

 

Both systems have the same antivirus us same versions of IE.

 

Any thoughts, suggestions would be helpful.
