Internet Explorer Script Error
Hello,
Recently I have been having trouble with an Internet Explorer Script Error that has been popping up at random times. I reads "An error has occurred in the script on this page." It then lists the line, char, error, code, and URL. The URL is in Local Settings\Temp\NDr81.tmp.html. When the error comes up it is usually the exact same thing everytime except the NDr.tmp.html may have some different numbers at the end. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jared

Using Windows Explorer locate
C:\documents and settings\Your User Name (repeat for all other user names in documents and settings)\local settings\temp folder and delete all files and folders in it.
Then go to the C:\Window\Temp folder and delete all files and folders in it. Then open Internet Explorer click tools->>internet Options->>General. Click on Delete Files make sure you get all offline content as well.
See if that resolves your issue, if not please reply

The Script error is still popping up after I removed all of those files. When I deleted those files I couldn't delete a file named Perflib_Perfdata_e20 in the windows\temp folder and I couldn't delete ~DFB2EC.tmp in the Documents and Settings temp folder. Since I removed all the files, alomst instantly the following files came back - NDr124.tmp, rtdrvmon, and who123.tmp.
Thanks,
Jared

Those files that were replaced most likely indicate that the program is in use, and it replaced the temp file.
A couple of other questions
What browser do you use? IE, IE7, Mozilla, etc
When did this errors start ( did you recently download something)?
Are there any other problems?

I use Mozilla most of the time. Internet Explorer is still the default browser. We also have AOL. We just got DSL to use with AOL but if I can remember right the problem was occurring even when we weren't connected to the internet all the time. I have been at college all year so I am trying to figure out this problem on my parent's computer at home but I don't think they have downloaded anything wierd. As far as other problems go, I haven't noticed anything different. It seems to be running fine and the internet runs good. Its just the Script error popup that comes up quite a bit. This computer has Norton Internet Seurity running and I updated Ad-Aware and ran it and found no problems.
Thanks,
Jared

Could be a conflict between AOL and Nortons, I know that AOL now comes with their own antispyware programs (Which I have no faith in) I would suggest you look in that direction.
Leave Nortons in tact and disable some of the AOL add on's
