Internet Security 14 questions

I've searched Trend Micro's website and found nothing as a solution, but i have two questions regarding IS14.

1. Why does the pc have to reboot every time its parameters are updated? It updates at least once a day if not more and it adds up to a lot of rebooting.
2. Is there a way to disable the reboot message popup after it downloads new parameters? It frequently kicks me out of games and other applications prompting me to reboot.
