Is Virtual Blocker spyware

I believe I may have just infected my computer with some sort of spyware or Trojan Horse or the like.  I was trying to play "Over the Rainbow" from some site for my daughter and then something started to download onto my computer.  The next thing I knew I was getting bombarded with pop-ups, Norton Anti-Virus said there was a Trojan Horse on my computer, but that it didn't know what to do about it.

I tried to uninstall this Virtual Blocker application from the add/delete application in the control panel but I don't think I have solved it since I keep getting new pop-ups - many of these offer to eliminate a parasite or spyware but I am very skeptical.

Please help

I am not sure whether it is a Trojan or some sort of Spyware or nothing at all?
Since you know that this has happened very recently my suggestion is just to back the registry back to yesterday, (I am assuming that this happened today????).
Go to Start/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
On the calendar that you will see, highlight the 27th, and follow the prompts.
It will walk you thru it.
After you finish and reboot your computer will be like it was yesterday. That questionable problem will be gone.

If you have a problem you can PM me or post again.

Steve

Thanks - that seemed to do the trick.
