Really I do not know. We do not work for DeLL or McAfee; However, If you want to uninstall McAfee completely follow this instructions and use the removal tool. I did it in my PC without any problems whatsoever.
Dell makes money by pre-installing trial software such as McAfee (all the major computer vendors engage in this practice) based on the premise that buyers will continue with that software. This potentially lowers the cost of your PC when you buy from Dell.
McAfee is a reputable AV, but I agree there are better (some even free) AVs out there. As Hernan said, I would use McAfee's uninstall tool, and get a better AV.
It's unfavorable and impossible to completely uninstall without causing major issues.
You have not provided any documentation to support that statement, so it must be opinion. If you do not like McAfee, use the removal tool to uninstall it per the McAfee's instructions. There should be no "major issues" if done correctly.

Hope this helps.
Forgot. Before uninstalling disconnect Internet and open up McAfee and deactivate each security feature.
