Macafee problems?

I've had this new XPS System for three days and today Macfee was asking me if I wanted to give Internet access to my ISP software, so many times it hung the system up. I have had two hangs while running Macafee but when I took it out everything was fine. Even the "send error" message to Microsoft screeens were hanging up. I had one blue screen but failed to get all the pertinent data. If this happens again I will surely send another board message with all the correct info. I am afraid to reactivate Macafee what should I do?
