Malicious Virus - Tried everything - HELP!

Serious problem.  Cannot access the internet. Webpage starts to load then nothing.  Try again and again same thing.  Sometimes after 5 tries or so it will load a page, but as soon as you try to open another window it closes all windows and I'm back to my desktop.   I have NOrton anit-virus running all the time , updated, etc.. I've used Spybot S&D, Adaware, MS Anti-spyware  etc.. but it doesn;t help.   I tried system restore and it goes through everything, re-boots, etc.. but then a message that the system could not be restored to that date.  I pick from the dates available and I've tried 4 different dates, but it won't do the restore.    I bought Norton Systems package and have tried everything including their GoBack restore program and it says I don't have enough space 5000 KB or somehting for the restore , which is simply not true as I have ofver 30 GB unused on the drive. So that doesn't work.   One time I uninstalled the anti-virus program and then I got access to the internet.   I also get a screen that comes up during re-booting that has something about a CMAPP file in it.  My anti-spyware program has identified that file as a process that is running.

If you are using a firewall try turning it off and then accessing a webpage.  If that works then you need to set a rule to allow Internet Explorer to access the net.  If you are not using a firewall (crazy) or turning the firewall off does not work then try to access through 'My Computer' or 'windows Explorer' by typing in the web address in the address bar including the http://  Also you can try to check/uncheck the option in internet options >> conections >> LAN settings >> 'Automatically Detect Settings'  Just some ideas.. But for as the windows closing, that sounds like virus/adware problem Oh and System Restore is a known buggy part of Windows so that could be unrelated.  If all that fails try using another browser or ping a ip or website to see if the computer is connected at all.

If you have Norton firewall click on personal firewall then click on configure then on the tab click on programs then near the bottom click on program scan it will scan for programs that access the internet.After that you can check all of them or go one by one to give access to the internet.
