Mcafee Virus Scan

How does this check for updates? Is it automatic? or do we have to set it? It would be idea to have it get updates at shut down.

Does it have tutorial or help section? Should give instructions for setting it up and configuring it. Not familiar with the product but it should have an auto update feature or prompt you if updates are available if you are on line.
