message--Vulnerability--go to IE?

When I turned on my DellDimension4300 this afternoon I saw a warning message:

"Vulnerability detected"--and referred me to an Internet Explorer site. I didn't do it because I was cautious about getting a virus by responding.

I then did a Virus scan with Panda Titanium and found nothing. I checked with AdAware and found nothing either.

However, I'm having trouble with Adaware updating. I saw the other message in this forum about the difficulty that others are having. Could this have caused my vulnerability message?

I'm really not sure...I have Ad-Aware myself.....its a great program but im having some problems with it myself. Perhaps their server is down?

I really dont know. But dont use Internet Explorer. Its not a very good browser. Firefox is better. :)

There was a fix update for Ad-Aware. Uou should check for updates on it anytime soon. As for a replacement for IE get opera or firefox. Also If you get firefox get the extensions- flashbloack/fasterfox/adblock and adblock filterset g.
