Well the good news is you just have one really nasty bugger. But we can whip it.
1. Change the location of your Hijackthis folder...please copy to and run Hijackthis.exe into a new folder you create in the root level of the C: drive. Name this folder HJT. See this link for graphical instruction: http://russelltexas.com/spywareinfo/createhjtfolder.htm Backups of Hijackthis actions are not reliable in the current location you're using.
2. Run Hijackthis from the new location.
Place a Fix check mark by:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot (optional fix...it's a resource hog and can be safely deleted)
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe (optional fix...it's a resource hog and can be safely deleted)
O16 - DPF: {10000000-1000-0000-1000-000000000000} - file://C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\vubhlhwb.exe (comments: this is the bad apple: TrojanDropper.Win32.Small.cw)
3. Close all open windows except for Hijackthis. Select 'Fix checked'
4. Reboot in Safe Mode (hit F8 key on restarting). Use Windows Explorer to drill on down into C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\vubhlhwb.exe and delete the file.
5. Reboot in normal mode and run Disk Cleanup (type cleanmgr at Start /Run) Empty all the junk.
hey guys - did everything you said, no problems detected on ad aware or search and destroy, but couldn't find vubhlhwb.exe in the folder you told me and even when i searched for it, so here is my latest logfile with all the changes except that one. thanks

Spybot s&d, Ad-aware Run weekly - or after a heavy internet session.
Spywareblaster & Spywareguard, first sets kill bits to stop known bad activeX controls installing, second acts like your AV to stop browser hijacks and installing of known badies.
Also ie-spyad (Link on my site), puts 4000 bad sites in your restricted (banned) sites list, to stop you accidentaly getting sent to a bad site, it has optional list of "bad" adult sites to install as well.
All those with links from my site. Do remember just like Anti-Virus they need to be updated regularly, I do mine weekly, Anti-Virus hourly.
With these and a firewall in place I have to try various bad sites when checking peoples hijackthis logs looking to sort bad from good, and I have not yet been infected. Still time for it to happen LOL.

You've got a CoolWebsearch hijacker. Download the shredder tool and run it in Safe Mode (hit F8 on boot).
CW Shredder to repair CoolWebSeach infestations:

Have it fix all the problems it detects. Reboot.
After doing that download and run these two programs. Check for updates for each program before running. Fix all problems.
Spybot Search & Destroy:

Reboot.

Look at the info on my website regarding malware (Link below). Some things you can do to stop getting infected again:-
Spybot s&d, Ad-aware Run weekly - or after a heavy internet session.
Spywareblaster & Spywareguard, first sets kill bits to stop known bad activeX controls installing, second acts like your AV to stop browser hijacks and installing of known badies.
Also ie-spyad (Link on my site), puts 4000 bad sites in your restricted (banned) sites list, to stop you accidentaly getting sent to a bad site, it has optional list of "bad" adult sites to install as well.
All those with links from my site. Do remember just like Anti-Virus they need to be updated regularly, I do mine weekly, Anti-Virus hourly.
With these and a firewall in place I have to try various bad sites when checking peoples hijackthis logs looking to sort bad from good, and I have not yet been infected. Still time for it to happen LOL.

The cleanup tools whacked it...that's normal. Could have been the shredder, Adaware, or Spybot that did the honors.
