MY COMPUTER IS ALIVE

Question

My mouse moves on it's own and the screen scrolls up or down about a 1" all by it's self

i have done a scan disk with mcgaffey and norton then i did a spyware scan.went online did online scans with norton and panda. cma eup with nothing no virus found.

deleted all my mails emptied recycle bin and ran all the scan again.

nothing

done all the microsoft updates.

i'm running xp pro.

Have you got a microphone attached? I've seen other posts where people reported erratic mouse movements, even with the mic muted.

My mouse curser will occasionally drift (1' per second) to the top of the screen all by itself. It has done this before and still does it after a clean WinXP reinstall. Moving the mouse while it is 'drifting' will immediately give me back control. I find it adds 'character' to my system....
