My computer is infected...help immediately!
Hello,
My computer has been having a lot of problems with speed lately, but just tonight a message popped up that says
"Dangerous infection was detected on your PC. The System will now download and install the most efficient antimalware program to prevent data loss and your private information theft. Click here to protect your computer from the biggest malware threats."
And when I click, a whole bunch of anti-Spyware product pages come up. Yes, I am running on free Virus scan, and have little software to protect Spyware. But I'm intensely worried. A message also came up that said that a program has infected my computer that can gather personal information and passwords...and I just have no idea what to do. Unfortunately, since then I have logged onto Internet banking and gmail, but I immediately closed out of both...what should I do? Do I buy anti-spyware online, download it? How does that work? I jsut wasn't sure if I needed to spent $50.00, but if my computer is at risk of losing private files and passwords, and if someone can hijack my online accounts, then I definitely have to get this going!! I'm so worried, and it's been a long night of trying to figure out on my own how to deal with this, which I can't, so I need help. I eagerly await replies, and thanks in advance.

sounds like you have Spyaxe or another evil program on your computer.... Do not buy the program it links you too as all it does is makes you poorer and more infected with spyware and viruses.
