need help with atmclk.exe!

hello everyone, i just recently joined this site for 2 reasons. 1.I currently own a Dell Inspiron 1200 Notebook. and 2.I have done nothing at all to get atmclk.exe in my C:/WINDOWS/system32/ directory. Its some annoying adware thing that automatically installed itself, almost anonymously! My problem with it is that it CAN be removed, but it will just come back. I also keep getting popups saying stuff like, "Your computer is infected, Click here to remove malware". One more thing.....don't even mention spy falcon, that was automatically installed somehow too. Would a firewall be necessary? If anyone could suggest a program or anything that could help, I would honestly be very greatful. I just got my lappy and now this garbage attacks me.

Go here and download Hijackthis

http://dsvs.org/5/HijackThis.exe

Save it in a convenient permanent folder such as C:\\HJT\\, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents AT THE LINK BELOW

and include a description of the problem along with your log

Please do not be tempted to "fix" on your own. Hijackthis is a very powerful tool, if used incorrectly can cause system problems

And yes an additional firewall would be a good choice, but get the pc clean first

Hi, those adware are really annoying but theres nothing that can stop them, we can minimize the infection but cannot be safe 100 percent.

Anyway, atmclk.exe is a process that belongs to SpyFalcon or SpywareQuake. You must be able to remove this Spyware to be able to eradicate the process. See complete information of atmclk.exe.

Hi ! I have the same problem , and believe it I have just bought a new laptop so...

I found the solution for you misery :smileyvery-happy:! But I didn't have enough time to apply  it , it is just a matter of time .

Just go to this site http://info.prevx.com/downloadremove.asp it provides you with the Prevx1 that is able to delete it from your system . I know you have tried to delete it manually but it CAN'T work , so download it and leave in peace . :smileywink:!
