Need help with persistent virus - Bamajim please !

I booted into safe mode, ran CCleaner, ran Hijack this, checked and fixed  the C04 entry you specified, rebooted and got a new log. Strange thing though, on the new log, that entry for the C04 is still there ?

Was Spybot Tea timer turned off?

Did you run Hijackthis.exe as "Administrator" in your Selection?

Yes. Vista is very particular when it comes to permissions. If the entries were stored under Administrator, then You will have to Rt Click Hijackthis.exe and Select "Run As Administrator" to remove entries in Hijackthis. At other times this is not required. This quirk makes it difficult on us helpers, because we are not there to see which way Vista perferes it. So let's do it that way first.

Hang in there, because there are 2 other possibilities that we may have to employ before we get dir of the entry.

I rebooted into safe mode again and ran CCleaner and Hijack this both as admin. The entry for the 04 Rundll you specified was not in the log so I couldnt remove it. I then rebooted and ran Hijack again and below is the most recent log.

I have not experienced any Trend Micro pop up virus warnings all day. SuperAntiSpyware, Adaware, Spybot and PCCillin all came up clean !

It appears we may have got rid of it !  Thanks for the help.

Hey Jim,

Everything seems to be running fine right now. I am having a problem with Spyware Blaster. I keep getting an error when I try to open it. I'm not home right now so I can't remember what the error was. I did reinstall it and when I was setting up the protection for Firefox the same error came up. Windows then shuts down the application. I don't know what that is all about.

Other than that it seems that everything is ok. Thanks for your help !
