NewDotNet Scumware

Question

I have been trying to get rid of this scumware for quite a while now, and it keeps showing up in my spyware scan. Ive tryed going directly to the source to delete it but it says that it is in use or copyright protected? So I opened up msconfig and deslected it from running when I start up a then tryed to delete it and still it remains.   Any suggestions??   Thanks MIKE

One route you could go is if you know when you got this spyware, to just back up your registry to the date before it came.
This maybe impracticable for you to do, you might loose a lot of data that you need, but then again you might be doable for you. I don't know what is on your system.

If it is not in add/remove programs, then try method 4 here.

Look for New.Dot Net entry in Add/Remove Programs and remove it.   'Puter Guy

F-that everyone needs to go Directly to 4 If you have tryed Spyware remover, I see how and why now Spyware did not get rid of it.
