norton antivus error message

Question

I have a Dell 700 running windows 98se.  I have Norton Systemsworks and Personall Firewall 2004.  I've just noticed tha my defiinitions weren't up to date.  When I try to run Liveupdate I get this message: 'USButtonRentalExpiredSS' is undefined: rec://C:\ProgramFiles\Norton SystemWorks\ Norton Antivirus\NAVUIRES.DLL/ navstats.htm: 1744 in the lower left hand corner there is a 3002.0   I went to Norton's site and by reading what I could find I either have the trojan horse popdis or I have to uninstall and reinstall norton again for some reason.  I want a second opinion before I do anyhting.  All my scans come back clean.  Also under the antivrus window the email scanning says error, but It won't tell me what it is when I click on it.  Also under virus definitions it says updating but never updates nothing.  Any info would be great.  Thanks

I would go ahead and follow the procedure(s) indicated as this appears to describe your problem....any reason why you would not want to?
