Yes you may have to reinstall your Panda anti-virus. But first check to see if the real time scanning is turned on. This is how windows security center checks to see if you have anti-virus.
If you have trouble figuring out if it is turned on you can download Belarc Advisor and run the program. It will present a profile of your computer in your web browser. Look to the middle of the Belarc Advisor page and it will tell you if "real time" scanning is turned on. You can also save the page to a folder and use it for future reference (windows product key,Bios info,ram installed etc. Just Google Belarc Advisor and download the small file.
