You have to be connected to the Internet for it to finish installing and updating. I'd un-install (Add/Remove programs), go to Trend Micro.com-Support and redownload the current version from their site. As long as you purchased the program, they'll let you download it. Or, just try to re-install from the disc. Either way, you have a conflict with 2 versions of the same system trying to overlap. BTW, PC-Cillin 2006 is an excellent all around security suite. I've used them all and never had a bit of problems with TrendMicro. Plus it's effective and not a resource hog like Norton.
Thanks so much for replying back. I went ahead and recovered my system. I just purchased it on the 21st so I didn't risk losing much. The old is back on there now and tells me that it's outdated. I just panicked I didn't read that message before I downloaded the new version and it scared me when things were deleted. I'll install the new cd once I get the internet. Thanks again!
