Please help me!! Problem with computer and spyware!

There was tons of spyware and other stuff on my computer,so I ran a virus check and also ran ad-aware. It said it deleted the stuff it found the the problem should be fixed. However, this is what my computer is doing. Say you do a search on google and search for something like "pizza",when your searches come back..it comes back with stuff like "singles.net,canadianmedsworld.com" and other junk like that. How do I make my computer go back to normal? This is driving me crazy! I've been told to just reinstall windows and go that route. I don't want to,but if that is my only option then I will

Please help me!!

good work in posting your log.    Please be patient, as the helpers in that forum are often overburdened.   But someone will reply as soon as they can.

Download a self-extracting copy of the latest version of HJT (HiJackThis) (version 1.99.1) from
Save it to your Desktop.
Double-click on the file    hijackthis_sfx.exe    file, and allow it to self-extract [by clicking on UnZip] into the suggested/default folder,
C:\Program Files\HijackThis

Use Windows Explorer to navigate your way into this folder, and then double click on HiJackThis. exe

Click on  Do a System Scan and Save a LogFile

This will automatically open NotePad

Copy the entire file from NotePad:  EDIT/SelectAll, EDIT/Copy

Then go to the  forum dedicated for HiJack This logs (**NOT** back here), and  PASTE the results there:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack

Be sure to include a detailed description of any problems/errors/warnings you are encountering.

Hopefully, one of the HJT experts will get to it as quickly as possible.

WARNING:  HiJack This is a VERY POWERFUL tool.  While it's  completely safe  for you to download, generate, and post your log (as described above), you should *NOT* attempt to do anything else (in particular, do NOT use it to delete/fix any entries) until you are advised to do so by a forum expert!!   Improper use of this tool can severely damage your system.

"tons of spyware and other stuff" sounds like the result of file sharing. That can install malware because it opens the door for any number of worms, adware, and spyware infections when you use their network. The courts have decided that current P2P networks are primarily used to trade pirated software and media.
P2P software itself has now been found illegal in some cases. It might be a good idea to remove that software.
