Please Help SAVRT.SYS error message and other bad things wrong

Hi,

 I'm sooooo stuck trying to fix my i8200.

 I tried all of the scans recommended before posting in the Hijackthis area and have a log posted there with no response yet. However I have since found some clues through some other available scans. The problem with most of the recommended ones is that they require downloading of active-x controls which my machine won't do in it's present condition(safe mode only).

 I have been told by Paretologic's Xoft scan that I have Downloader, Trojan.galapoper.A, Hacktool.Rootkit,Joke program, wincap,spyarsenal ICQ among others. All these previous scans showed only minor stuff. Norton AV doesn't function at all and I'm having a hard time believing that all of these just showed up the other day.

 Any ideas?

 I've run: Adaware,Spybot, Etrust,MS malicious software removal tool and more to no avail.
