I have this very similar problem with my work computer, pop ups saying my computer is infected, LiveWinupdates, Ezanga, Passion and many others. I ran HiJack This and it is posted below. I ran Vundofix from Symantec and it said my computer was not infected however.
As crazy as it sounds I have run as many as 3 pop up blocker / Spy Ware programs and they still get through. Pop up Stopper was the last one I tried and it worked fairly well but these pop ups still would get through. Windows Defender and Pest Patrol were not very effective.
After I found this forum I downloaded SpyBot search and destroy and it found some garbage that Pest Patrol ignored and I deleted it but the pop ups continue.
Thanks, my computer is running much better.

We are going to run Vundofix again but alter the instructions slightly
Run VundoFix Again
- At the Main window Rt Click in the Open Box and Select Add Files
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssngjlvn.dll
- Click the Remove Vundo button. Do not click the Scan for Vundo
- You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
- Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
- When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
- Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.A second window will open
Copy and paste the following into the first 2 lines
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvljgnss.*
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hqiphstb.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\btshpiqh.*
Select Add Files ->> Repeat untill they are all loaded Then Close Window
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Any help would be appreciated.
