Problems uninstalling NAV 2003

I've tried to uninstall Norton Antivirus 2003 from add/remove software in control panel. It gets rid of it alright but then I can't connect to the internet, My isp address is all zeros, E-mail won't work, AVG anti- virus won't work. Computer is very slow. My service provider has no idea how to fix it. I then re-install it and poof..all is well.

Does any one have a clue why this happens and how can I get rid of Norton Antivirus? Thanks!!

Btw, I am running Windows XP home.

Check on the Symantec site or do a Google search for a program to remove Norton. I forget what it's called, but they had to come up with that program to do the job. If you can't find it there, post back and I'll search.
