PSI PowerPoint Viewer 2003 Security Patch- False Positive
"Todays Secunia PSI scan of my system indicated that I need a Security Update for PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (KB969615). When I run that Microsoft update, however, it says "There are no products affected by this update on your system" and nothing is updated.I have the complete Microsoft Office 2003 on my system, and it is completely up-to-date."

Since I am getting the same message, I assume this is a false positive by PSI

I think it is more of an issue with the MS KB. I think used to get a simular message and the update would install. over and over again. Solved the issue by updating to PP viewer 2007.

I have no doubt the PSI detection is related to the recent Powerpoint patch from MS.
However PPT 2007 users are reporting a similar problem over in the Secunia forum.

The Secunia ONLINE inspector is generating a F/P for me on Adobe Reader 7 , which i've updated to 7.1.2 (but the scanner is only finding 7.0.8. 218);
the PERSONAL software inspector (PSI) is in fact finding 7.1.2.704
