Did you remove McAfee from ADD/REMOVE programs?

Hi bamajim,
Yes, I did that first and then ran the vscleanup.exe file on mcafee's website. Windows Security Centre still insists on following Mcafee rather than norton though.
Any ideas gladly welcomed.

Sometimes McAfee is tough to remove
Go to search type in Mcafee (make sure search is set to include "looking in hidden files and folders"
And manually remove it all.
Reboot your pc.
Then turn off your Firewall and turn it back on (off line of course)
It should pick it up then
