This was after Stopsign was removed from my computer. I had stopsign for several years. The only problems I have encountered are that when I close a window it will only partially close, a pause, another partial close, a pause, and then it will completely close. This does not happen all the time, so I have ignored it. The only reason I had installed regcure was because I received an error code 0X80070005, which when I searched on Bing linked me to regcure website. On another thread in ms forum, I followed suggestions and have removed reg cure, and installed malwarebytes-antimalwarebytes (3 objects found and removed), windows defender with no problems found, ms security essentials with no problems found, mozilla browser, secunia (did not run a scan yet), cccleaner with no problems(this was the free version from file hippo), web of trust, and the spyware blaster, but did not run the scan. Then I downloaded the hijackthis.exe, posted the log here ( I also checked analyze this before I closed. In case the other thread was not read, Is there a program that I can buy that will do all this without my having to run several scans from all these downloads. I do not mind paying if I can be of safe mind as I thought I was with stopsign. Thank you again Bugbatter for all this assistance.

CCleaner should not give you any problems. It is a good tool to keep your computer clean. Just do not use the Registry Issues component.
We use CCleaner all the time here on the forums to help people clean out old temporary files, cookies, etc.. I've been using it myself for years. The versions update every so often, so I usually try to stay with the updates. I always download the Slim version from the Builds page (That is lighter without toolbars.)
