areyouaspy,

According to this thread at BleepingComputer, this error is evidence of the presence of known malware. While the article explains all the steps needed to remove this malware, the steps include several advanced malware removal tools. You may prefer to get assistance with the removal of this. That can be done by following the steps in this post.

Do NOT follow the removal steps involving "regedit" given in another post in this thread. Several of them may cause serious problems for your operating system.

BACK UP the REGISTRY prior to editing it,
unless you really like to do stuff like,
explain to your spouse why you no longer have the last five years of family pictures,
reinstall windows XP and discuss reactivation with MS,
reborrow and reinstall all your "borrowed" programs,
and explain to your college student why the term paper that counts for half the class grade will need to be rewritten a week before it is due.

Regards.

(Did I mention you should BACK UP the REGISTRY before you edit it?)
