I have received numerous calls just like these from men, obviously from India or Pakistan, the accents are pretty much the same to my ears. How in the world do they know I have a PC purchased in December of last year? How do they know that I had a service call? As soon as they ask about connecting my pc to remote, I know it isn't Dell. I tell them in the grouchiest was possible that if my pc has a problem, Dell alerts me, and I go onto the Support Site and talk to someone via chat. I know very little about computers, but I do know Dell. If there is ever a problem, they correct it, but they do not call me first. Ever. My husband gets me a new Dell every 5 years and has done so since 2004, so I know that for sure.
