Open the FakeAlertFix Folder Double Click FakeAlertFix.vbe to run the program Then Select O.K. at the prompt Allow the program to run (Your desktop will disappear, then re-appear. This is normal) When it is finished it wil produce a log C:\FakeAlertFix.txt Copy and paste the results of that log in your reply
5. Then reboot your PC into Normal Windows Mode->> Rerun Hijackthis and post a fresh Hiajckthis log. As well as the C:\FakeAlertfix.txt log

That's quite an infection you have there. It will take a couple of runs at this to comppletely remove it so please bea patient.
1. Please download the Killbox.
2) Rt Click->>Extract all->.Extract it to your Desktop
3) Double Click Killbox.exe to run it
4)Select " Delete on Reboot", and then select "All files".
5) Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:
C:\Windows\system32\mgmrwmrv.exe
6) Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose " Paste from Clipboard".
7) Click the red-and-white " Delete File" button. Click " Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt.
2. Go HERE and download FakeAlertFix
Save it to your Desktop. But do not run it yet.
3. Reboot into Safe Mode
This can be done by
Begin tapping the F8 key twice a second untill you reach another menu screen (black background with white menu choices)
Use your arrow keys and select Safe Mode and then Enter
4. Close all Internet Explorer Windows and Run FakeAlertFix
Open the FakeAlertFix Folder

Good work so far.
1. We need to temporarily disable the Real-time Protection on Windows Defender as it may interfere with the HijackThis fixes we make.
- Open Windows Defender
- Click Tools => Options
- Scroll down and uncheck Use real-time protection (recommended).
- Click Save
- Close Windows Defender
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.2. Rerun Hijackthis (scan only) and place checks beside the following entries

Did you select Remove infections at the end of the scan?
Did you have any trouble doing so?
If all went wll except for the log, then post a fresh Hijackthis log and include an update on how your PC is running.

You may want to print out these instructions for reference
You have a couple of protection programs we need to disable so they don't interfere with our fix
1. Disable SpySweeper
If you have Spy Sweeper version 4
- Open it, Click Options over on the left, then Program options
- Uncheck load at windows startup.
- Over to the left, Click shields and Uncheck all there.
- Uncheck home page shield.
- Uncheck automatically restore default without notification.
- Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect before running HJT.

If you have SpySweeper version 5:
To disable SpySweeper Shields
* Open SpySweeper.
* Click Shield Settings on the right
(or Shields on the left, depending what screen you're on).
* Click Internet Explorer and uncheck all items.
* Click Windows System and uncheck all items.
* Click Hosts File and uncheck all items.
* Click Startup Programs and uncheck all items.
* Close SpySweeper.
Reboot you computer, and ensure Spy Sweeper is disabled.
2. Windows Defender.

Close all other open windows except Hijackthis and Select " Fix checked"
Close Hijackthis
4. Go HERE and download Webwatcherfix
Save it to your Desktop. But do not run it yet.
5. Reboot into Safe Mode
This can be done by
Begin tapping the F8 key twice a second untill you reach another menu screen (black background with white menu choices)
Use your arrow keys and select Safe Mode and then Enter
6. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and Run Webwatcherfix
Open the WebwatcherFix Folder
Double Click WebwatcherFix.vbe to run the program
Then Select O.K. at the prompt
Allow the program to run (Your desktop will disappear, then re-appear. This is normal
When it is finished it wil produce a log C:\WebwatcherFix.txt
Copy and paste the results of that log in your reply
7. Then reboot your PC into Normal Windows Mode->> Rerun Hijackthis and post a fresh Hiajckthis log.
As well as the C:\Webwatcherfix.txt log
Note: you may have to post the results in more than one reply
