Too bad.  It would have been nice to have a new way of killing this mess.

Start, Run, services.msc, OK and in the right pane find  Network Security Service (NSS) and double click on it and STOP the service then set the Startup Type to Disabled, OK

Download the Hoster from:

http://www.funkytoad.com/

Unpack to your desktop and run it.  If you have green print at the top then just press Restore Original Hosts then OK.
IF you have red print then press make Hosts Writeable first.

Get DelDomain.inf from:

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/DelDomains.inf  and then right click on it and Install.

Download and install ccleaner.exe from http://www.ccleaner.com. Don't let
it clean anything yet.

Download the killbox:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/killbox.php

Unzip it to your desktop but don't run it.

Get AboutBuster and install it and check for updates as per:

http://www.besttechie.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1488

but don't let it do a scan or remove anything yet.

Get smitrem from:

http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/

unpack or extract it but don't run it yet.

Run killbox.  Where it says Full Path of File to Delete you need to type or copy (Hightlight and Ctrl + c)
and Paste (move to the killbox and place the cursor in the box and Ctrl + V):

C:\WINDOWS\sdkqd.exe

Then check the Delete on Reboot box and then the red button.
Agree you want to remove the file

Repeat for:

C:\WINDOWS\rcqdy.dll

C:\WINDOWS\ipgh32.dll

C:\WINDOWS\atlbw32.exe

C:\DOCUME~1\Tony\LOCALS~1\Temp\7D.tmp.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\Tony\LOCALS~1\Temp\7E.tmp.exe

Let it reboot after the last one.

Shutdown and Restart and Boot into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key when you see the PC
maker's logo.
Keep tapping until it tells you it is going to Safe Mode or you see the Safe
Mode menu. Select the top option and log in as Tony if you get the chance.

Run HijackThis and just do a Scan only. Check  then Fix Checked the following:

Run AboutBuster  and let it remove anything it finds each time.

Run HijackTHis and check anything from the above list that shows up again then Fix Checked.

Run AboutBuster one more time.

Reboot into Safe Mode and run smitrem

Reboot into regular mode and run About Buster one more time.

Reboot into regular mode

Run another HijackThis log and post it as a reply. Let's
see how we did.

Looks like it worked.  Any problems?

I'd check this line and Fix Checked:

O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/nocache/funwebproducts/ei-2/SmileyCentralFWBInitialSetup1.0.0.8-2.cab

Stay away from SmileyCentral and funwebproducts.

A few recommendations:

If you have XP: Make sure you have System Restore running (toggle it off and On today to get rid of any bad stuff it may have retained)
and then you can just go back to an earlier time if you hit a bad site.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/systemrestore.mspx

One way to make an infection more obvious is to check everything in your current HijackThis and Add to Ignore List then set up Hijackthis to run at boot and to show you if it finds anything new.

To avoid going to a bad site you might want to install IE-SpyAd and SpywareBlaster and make the other changes recommended at:.
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm
I used to recommend Spybot's Immunize system but have recently learned it is not as good as the one at:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Always run a firewall.  The one in XP SP2 is pretty good tho I think the free one from Zone Alarm is better.

Turn on Autoupdates so you always get the latest patches from Windows.

Never hurts to do one of the free on line scans from Panda or Trend.  They take a while but are pretty good.
www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/activescan.asp?
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
In addition to Microsoft AntiSpy
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/downloads/default.mspx
I like to run Spybot S&D.
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
Also like to run AdAware once in a while.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Get the latest version of
Java:
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

Make sure you have removed any older versions of Java or JRE  with Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.  Updates do not remove the older versions which have exploitable flaws.

If you are not running the latest version of Adobe you should consider updating.  There are reports of a loophole for hackers in pre 7.03 versions.
As an alternative you can dump adobe completely and use fox-it instead:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
