SpyHunter is not from Executive software, the makers of Diskkeeper, but Enigma Software Group, Inc.  There is also another product Internet Spy Hunter 2.0

My mistake, the entries are for Enigma Software.

The question remains, are they safe to remove?

Will SpyHunter still run correctly?

Thnx with apologies, Bruce

Hi Bruce, Here is a link to ChrisRLG's list of recommended software.

http://www.cjwd.demon.co.uk/compsafetyonline.html

These are two programs for removing spyware/malware/adware, etc., and the work very well together.  They need to be updated, configured and run as suggested in the tutorial:

http://www.cjwd.demon.co.uk/spybot-adaware.html

I also run SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard, which can be downloaded from the first link.  If you need more information, please let us know.  Good luck...

The entries for Enigman Software found by AdAware.

Are they safe to remove, will Spybot S&D still run correctly?

If I remember what I've seen written here in the past correctly... Spyhunter is a ripoff of the Spybot S&D, and in fact uses Spybots data base. Recommendation would be to dump Spyhunter and instead used the latest version of Spybot S&D.
