spyware issue question - notify alert.exe and rng.exe error

Question

I clearly have spyware on my system at this time as I am getting continual ad pop-ups on sites that normally do not have any advertising .  In addition, I I have monitored spyware in the past using Spybot and McAfee.  In addition, I am getting notify alert.exe and rng.exe errors when I boot, and the peformance of the system as a whole is sluggish. I usually check for spyware and adware periodically using Spybot and McAfee.  The problem I have is that whatever spyware has infiltrated my system will not allow either of these programs to OPEN!  I re-installed Spybot several times and no dice. Any suggestions?
