Thanks for the reply Steve....Just doesn't seem as fun anymore surfing the internet with all the things you have to protect yourself from just to surf around....
It can be a pain to go to the trouble of downloading and running these programs, but because of just a few bad and malicious people it is necessary in this day and age. :smileymad:
What I do is look for updates every day, only takes a few minutes.
Using: NIS 2004 Spybot S&D AdAware Spyware Blaster and for good measure... Microsoft beta Spyware program
There are no conflicts that I am aware of and with the exception of NIS, they are all FREE :smileyvery-happy: NIS is close to free $19.99, if you take all the rebates.

Yes these programs, in my opinion, are a must to keeping your system healthy.
I wouldn't stop running any of the programs you have listed.
I run them all, just a different virus program.
