supportAssist scam after update
After starting an update and the computer telling me the bios had been updated, a screen popped up saying it was Dell SupportAssist CriticalWarn No Space available...Scan QR code below. It is accompanied by a loud alarm noise from the computer's speakers. I am pretty sure it is a scam, but there is no "X" to get out of it, and no scroll bar. I have tried everything after f12 during boot up, but it keeps comming back.
Help!

As far as the popup is concerned did you try pressing the Esc key to at least temporarily removing it ?
Beyond that, - and I don't know how it worked, - the BIOS update might have messed with something related to your SA program. No great solution here but I would uninstall, if able, the SA program and restart system. If you want SA on your system go to your driver page c/w your Service Tag # and let the Dell web page re-install a 'new' copy of SA. Might be a good idea to enter your email address to get a heads up on BIOS and critical drivers (before they auto-install on you and potentially brick your system).

@Maxd1
Thank you for your reply. The warning must have been legitimate, because after clicking the "continue" button, my computer finished booting up and has behaved normally since.

SA is known for puting out some dubious messages but I have not seen your's. I'd monitor your network activity (if you know how) - I use my security suite to accomplish (with scans). Definitely run a full virus scan in any case. Be well.
