based on the line:

O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {827DC836-DD9F-4A68-A602-5812EB50A834} - C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\abrsvr.dll

you should try following the information given here:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_hijack&message.id=16923#M16923

when you're done, append a copy of your NEW HJT log by REPLYing to this thread.

Looks like the VundoFix successfully removed the bad WinFixer/Vundo file.... granted, you have a new/different MSEvents line, but it's marked (filemissing), so we should be okay.

let's see if we can "clean up" a few items:

Run HiJackThis. Place a check-mark in the box in front of each of the lines [all of which indicate (filemissing) ]:

O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {827DC836-DD9F-4A68-A602-5812EB50A834} - C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB886185$\srvwin.dll (filemissing)

O20 - Winlogon Notify: abrsvr - C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\abrsvr.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ctask - C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\ctask.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: logeula - C:\WINDOWS\Cursors\logeula.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: msvccat - C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\msvccat.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: nutreg - C:\WINDOWS\msagent\chars\nutreg.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: nutsrv - C:\WINDOWS\Cursors\nutsrv.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: nututil - C:\WINDOWS\repair\nututil.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: rasdll - C:\WINDOWS\java\TRUSTLIB\rasdll.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: rasxml - C:\WINDOWS\system\temp\rasxml.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: srvwin - C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB886185$\srvwin.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vgaac - C:\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\vgaac.dll (filemissing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vgalib - C:\WINDOWS\system\temp\vgalib.dll (filemissing)

[Double-check this list... please not that your log has two other [good] O20 lines, for which the file is still present.   these two lines should *NOT* be checked by mistake!!]

Click on FIX CHECKED. Close HiJackThis. Reboot. And then generate/post another log, by REPLYing to this thread.

If you were careful as I instructed, this new log should have the following two GOOD O20-lines still showing up:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: ComPlusSetup - C:\WINDOWS\System32\catsrvut.dll

O20 - Winlogon Notify: NavLogon - C:\WINDOWS\system32\NavLogon.dll

At that point, I'm gonna ask someone else to step-in, to determine additional problems (if any) that you might have.

Good luck.

....followed the instructions verbatim. I still have a MSEvent Object (tried to remove it, no avail). However, I am no longer getting the Symantec notifications of a Vundo virus. Am I considered 'CLEANED' at this point? - Doug

Log looks ok other than the rmnants that ky331 pointed out.  Did they go away?

Make sure you have System Restore running (toggle it off and On today to get rid of any bad stuff it may have retained)
and then you can just go back to an earlier time if you hit a bad site.
One way to make this more obvious is to check everything in your current HijackThis and Add to Ignore List then set up Hijackthis to run at boot and to show you if it finds anything new.

To avoid going to a bad site you might want to install IE-SpyAd and SpywareBlaster and make the other changes recommended at:.
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm
I used to recommend Spybot's Immunize system but have recently learned it is not as good as the one at:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
Never hurts to do one of the free on line scans from Panda or Trend.  They take a while but are pretty good.
www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/activescan.asp?
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
In addition to Microsoft AntiSpy
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/downloads/default.mspx
I like to run Spybot S&D.
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
Also like to run AdAware once in a while.
