symantec issues

I am having issues with synchronising emails which, when adding the error message in microsoft are aiming fault at symantec. Symantec then asked me to remove and reload software. During installation in live updates, under the heading Symantec Common Client Update, a message appears 'this windows is running a pre-released or beta version of 2005 symantec product. This is not supported by Symantec and cannot be updated. Please contact the vendor that you purchased the software from to request a released version of the software'. Can I get this from Dell, and if so, what's the link. My computer is now beyond warranty.

Mr. Manson:

AVG offers [at least] 4 products:   Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Malware, and Internet Security (Suite).

So to clarify, are you sure your intent here was to suggest (only) the Anti-Spyware????
