system Restore Prob poss virus??

Hi...I am having trouble doing a system restore. I have tried Norton,Trend Micro, Spybot and Adware and nothing seems to detect what could be a possible virus.  When I hit F10 for system restore it states that there may be a possible virus.  Please help.

If you are referring to the dell system restore ,that requires Ctrl - F11 held simutaniously at the dell boot up screen.Make sure you have all pics, douments,or files backed up or you will lose them all as that restores to an as shipped state.

Mine is not a virus, but corupt files at boot up. Using windows 2000 disc to repair them. If it still doesnt work then I'm formating again, and start over. Must of had some corupt files in the system. And me I cant call microsoft we are not in good terms, and thats all I can say about that subject..:(

Do you know how to format the system? I would do that next if you cant find the virus.
