System Running very slow

Question

Main Issues: When trying to use Explore and my document folders, it is taking forever to open (minutes) create a new folder, etc. CPU utilization showing 100% usage almost all the time. Virus scans, CCcleaner, antispyware, have been run and still havin the issues... Thanks in advance for your help. System model?  Age?  How much memory?  Have you run a full hardware diagnostic (usually F12 at powerup)?

OK. Rebooted and hit F12 key. The only diagnostic I saw was the IDE diag. Ran that and it passed.
