Log looks OK except for 6 copies of Internet Explorer running.  We normally like for you to close all programs before running HJT.

Are you having a problem?

Again, this is my parents system so I was sending a log based on what informaiton I was receiving. I do not work from this machine so I do not have any specific issues other then the system is slow and would lock up or receive memory error messages while working in MS Applications (Word, Excel).

After running Spybot and Adware the system appears to be running better.  This log was just an additional source to locate any possible problems.

Please let me know if I should run a new log with ALL app's closed (oversight before).  But if everything looks good, then it may not be necessary.

I apologize for not making that clear in the beginning.  I was focused on alot of tasks at the time.

Thank you very much for your time.

I see they have broken the link on the how to section again so there is no way for you to know.  Doesn't matter.  Log looks OK.

You might want to check for a rootkit infection that would not show:

Download Blacklight trial from here:
http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/
Hit "I accept." It will take you to the download page.
Download blbeta.exe and save it to the Desktop.
Once saved... double click blbeta.exe (you may not be able to see the .exe) to install the program.
Click Accept Agreement and click Scan
This app may trigger a warning from your antivirus. Let the driver load.
Wait for it to finish.
If it displays any items...don't do anything with them yet. Just hit exit (close)
It will drop a log on Desktop that starts with fsbl....big number
Please post contents of log in your next reply.
Also when it is running slow: rightclick on the clock and select Task Manager then select Processes.  Click once or twice on the CPU column heading until you get the numbers at the top in that column.  What are the top three processes and what % do they each take.

Start, Run, eventvwr.msc, OK then select System.  Look for red marked files that have a time stamp about the time of the slowdown.  Open the event then click on the bottom of the three buttons to copy the text.  Move to a reply and Edit, Paste.  Repeat for any other different errors that happened during the slowdown period.  Repeat for Application.
