Hi 73mgb, and welcome to the forums.

You say you have six pages in your hjt log? That's a lot! Your slowdown problem might just be too many programs loading unnecessarily at start-up. (All you really need to load at startup are your antivirus, firewall, and antispyware- all others you can load on-demand).

You should also review the list of other security programs that should be removed (if you have them) because of potential conflicts/slowdowns when used with TM Security suite:

Suites do have a tendancy to slow some sytems down a bit, but yours is a pretty fast system. I have essentially the same PC as you, and IE7 loads almost instantly, and restarts are under a minute. (I don't use a suite however).

What I would suggest is you post your HJT log over in the Malware Removal forum to rule out infection, and for advice on what to remove from your start-up. Read these instructions first: http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19251122.aspx

Finally, you might be interested in this recent comparative review by PCWorld of 9 Security Suites:

TM did not fare well in detection, and finished dead last. However, slowness was not a feature remarked upon in that review.
