Well, gee, Steve, it wasn't my idea to get so many people involved. If I knew what I was doing computer-wise I wouldn't be asking you guys for help in the first place. I haven't posted here before so just doing the best I can. The last guy told me to start a new post. Sorry - this computer has me a little irritated. ANYWAY, I tried RKInner's suggestions and actually got rid of the blue screen. Yea! Not sure if everything cleared since I was unable to find some items you mentioned. Ready to get rid of about blank now. Thanks for the help.

My 3 months old computer has become annoyingly slow over the past about two weeks. It seemed like it was freezing up all the time...Yesterday one of my friends advised me to uninstall skype because in the task manager it said it was using about 113,000K of memory!!! Which is almost like half of the memory I have on my computer, according to what he said. So anyway, I uninstalled it, and now it's somewhat better. But still pretty slow...I just run hijacthis, if you could please help me what to do, I would appreciate it.
