Trojan virus

Question

My Dell Dimension (DIM3000) has a Trojan downloader virus. Actually my McAfee keeps detecting different versions of the virus and asks to quarantine them. The generic one cannot be cleaned, quarantined, or deleted. I've had to quit using it and use my laptop because it constantly has popups and is extremely slow. Can anyone help me?        :smileysad:I've just purchased the Dell one time occurence disk, but I think that I may have bought the wrong thing. Thanks to anyone that can help!!

Try scanning with avg anti spyware in safe mode.   http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5   You can also try trojan hunter.   http://www.misec.net/

If that doesn't work, the pop over to the HiJackThis board and post a log. Start off reading this. The experts there will get rid of it for you.

I'll try this one. The other links that I received for the virus wouldn't work. My computer would not let me download them. Also now when I logon it sounds like my computer is connected to the internet and I'm listening to an online radio show. Even when I wasn't connected. I tried disabling my virus scan, and downloading but all I get is a noise like an error. Thanks for your help! This is absolutely sickening, to think that I may not be able to get this thing off of my computer. I'm afraid to even turn it on.
