Trojan.Vundo.B
I have Norton Internet Security 2005. Norton alerts says my computer is infected with trojan Vundo.B - can't quarantine and can't delete.
I downloaded removal kit from Norton -
but still unable to remove virus. Report after use of tool was - 1 virus to be removed at next reboot, but virus not removed on next reboot. I tried in the safe mode, disabled system restore, disconnected from the internet but yet can't get rid of virus. I even deleted thevalues added to the registry but still no solution.
Pleas can anybody advice me on what next to do? I can't even restore my computer (Dimension 3000) to factory setting.:smileysad::smileysad:
I will appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hey,
Unfortunately the Symantec removal tool does not touch this particualr Trojan variant :smileysad:
What i recommend you do is go to the Hijackthis board and follow the post I made call "Guidelines Before Posting"
Then post the Hijackthis Log in the forum and Myself or someone else will take a look,
There is a fix I neeed you to do but first I need the Hijackthis Log :smileyhappy:

Hi Bertha2,
Thanks for your reply.
The Trojan virus seemed off my computer! I uninstalled the Norton and installed McAfee. McAfee did not find the virus. I re-installed Norton, that too did not find the virus, but when I connected to the internet the alaert came up. I uninstalled Norton and I am sticking with McAfee.
Thank you.
