Since you did a re-format no commands are needed. Some of the older checks and commands were used when an OS was re-installed, without re-format.

You could run chkdsk to verify the quality of the harddisk

Thanks!  I'll go ahead and run chkdsk and load the O.S..  Now that I think about it, when I had Dell talk me through the reload, we didn't reformat.  Hence the commands to clear any viruses in DOS.  I appreciate the input!
