Windows Update Error Code 80072EFE & Firefox Redirects
I am unable to get Windows Updates, with the above error code. Have also had some strange Firefox Re-Directs. I am also getting huge number of Norton Internet Security 'intrusion Attempt' Notifications.
Hijack Log Below. Currently running Malwarebytes, Full Scan. Did a quick before, detected 'RogueAntivirus Suite' in the Registry. Quarantined and Removed, but still cannot update Windows and getting the Norton notifications.
Thank You.

Also meant to say that I think the blue screen and windows crashing problems was due to a driver issue, my having installed a bluetooth device driver for a device I did not actually have...so wrong driver. Ever since I fixed that no issues. There is one windows vista security update that keeps generating an error and won't install. But unlike before everything new installs no problem. That one is getting hung up for some reason, but the behavior is quite different from that which was occured on infected drive....

Hi djwalk,
If your happy then I'm happy. There is nothing showing in any of the log's so I think you are in the clear for the new install on the C:\ drive.
As for the windows update, what error code are you getting. Also open Window's Update, right click the update that keeps failing and then click hide update, answer yes to any prompts and then click check for updates. Install any updates that may be found and keep doing this until no more update are found. Then please go to Hidden updates and unhide the update you hid before and see if it will then install.
Let me know.
Thanks,
K27.
